Where are the classes held? In the Varona Building,
this is located inside the main campus of the University.

When do the various courses begin? The first
Monday of every month.
4.
How do I register? Personally, on the first day
of the start of the course.
5.
Is it only for University students? No, anyone
can participate.
6.
What age limit applies? Anyone over the age of
18 years can be registered.
7.
When do I need to contact the university? All
that is required is that you register on the first day at
the beginning of your course which is the first Monday of
each month.
8.
What type of documents or visa will be required to register?
A requirement to study at the University of Havana is that
you must have the academic type of visa. For more details
and to facilitate the corresponding tramit, please you may

Is it possible to pay the fees for the courses, accommodation,
incidentals using credit cards or others? No,
the only payment accepted is in cash in usd.

Is it possible to book in advance to ensure to have a place
for the courses when I arrive in Havana? No,
this is not necessary or required.

How many hours of attendance of the courses are required
to finally receive a certificate for the courses taken?
A minimum attendance of at least 80 % of the lectures.
12.
When are courses held? Monday to Friday in the
morning.
13.
Does the University offer Spanish courses continuously?
Yes, Spanish courses are offered 12 months of the year.

It is possible to have accommodation at the University
Residence?
Yes, you can apply in advance to M.Sc. Tamara Proenza, Postgraduate
Office, (email: dpg@uh.cu) given details of your arrival
and type of course you want to take.
2.
I want to stay at the University
Residence. Please tell me the facilities.
The price is 15 usd daily including breakfast (double room).
You can ask laundry service and dinner in agreement with
